Chao Ding was invited to be the first vice president of the Texas Buddhist Academy and taught courses of Madhyamika and Yogacara Buddhism. Over the years, he has repeatedly brought other venerables to the TBA sponsored event, Emperor Liang&rsquo;s Repentance Assembly, in order to help raise funds for the American Bodhi Center. Because of his compassionate and amiable demeanor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\tVan Chao Ding is knowledgeable and well-versed in Buddhism. He is active in the world Buddhist community, serving as guest lecturer for various Buddhist Academies and traveling to many Buddhist countries to both teach and learn the Dharma. He has also published various Buddhist literatures, most notably <i>Aspects of Dependent Origination and A World View Based on Dependent Origination<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\tVen Chao Ding is Abbot of the Jade Buddha Temple now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>Ven.
