Bodhi Chinese School was established in 1992. The school's staff of over 20 teachers, most of whom have prior teaching experience, offers courses on Sunday at Jade Buddha Temple (above the Youth Activity Center). The classes are taught in Chinese using the traditional unsimplified Chinese characters. Three hundred students are divided among 22 classes in 14 academic levels, ranging from pre-school to middle school. Courses are offered in two semesters, which coincide approximately with the local school systems' academic calendar. Students may select from three class periods: 9:30am - 11:20am, 11:30am - 12:20pm, or 12:30pm - 2:20pm.

In addition, during the period of 11:30am - 12:20pm, the school also provides non-academic classes, such as kung-fu, violin,  Chinese calligraphy, arts & craft, adult Chinese class, Buddhistic study and children's Sutras reading. The Bodhi Chinese School is open to the public.

Also, the school holds annual carnival (in February) and open house (in September).
