On behalf of the TBA, reverend Jan Hai signs the contract to purchase 37979 FM 2979 Hampstead land, which consists of 512 acres of forest land. The title of the land was transferred to the TBA afterwards.

Reverend Hung I announces the establishment of the Bodhi Center Committee. Consisting of six members, the Committee is in charge of the development of Bodhi Center.

Bodhi Center Committee is renamed the "Bodhi Center Development Committee."

Architect Yu Jien-Jien debriefs the committee of core members about the fifth planning map of the Bodhi Center.

The Bodhi Center purchases the road from Mellman road to the entrance of the Bodhi Center.

On behalf of the Texas Buddhists Association, reverend Hung I signs a contract with U.S. Fish and Wildlife to apply for funds to clean up the forest in Bodhi Center. The forest is about 200 acres big.
