The year 1999 signals the 20th anniversary of Texas Buddhist Association (TBA) and there will be a series of special events to celebrate this great occasion.
The first event will be a special concert entitled "Celebration of Life with a Musical Evening" to be held on Saturday, April 3rd, 1999 at 7:00 at Cullen Performance Hall, University of Houston. Three choruses, including TBA's own Bodhi Choir and two guest singing groups from Taiwan, Ran Deng Chorus and Guan Zi Zai Chorus, will perform in this concert. The Path to Enlightenment - Following the Footsteps of the Buddha - An Exhibition of Buddhist History and Artifacts is open 10 AM to 5 PM, from Dec. 10, 1999 to Jan. 2, 2000 at Jade Buddha Temple. The admission is free. Group tour is available. Please contact temple at (281)498-1616 for detail.
